I can tag stuff the way I want, and categorize entries in different context. If you're on a Mac I suggest looking at it. I've used [VoodooPad](http://flyingmeat.com/voodoopad/) in the past but I still find myself jotting stuff down and really like the idea of something that I don't need a whole laptop for. That's where it will end up eventually (in one form or the other), but I like the physical act of writing it down. I have heard of Journler but have not tried it yet. I’m still a paper person ;-) .
